My name may not be known to you, save perhaps by reputation. Yours, however, has become well known to be in recent days. As a result of what I have learned about you, I have decided to ask for your assistance in a matter of grave importance. While I know that you have no obligation to me, I believe that your talents can help me save many lives, soldier and citizen alike. If coin is more important to you than noble deeds, on the other hand, rest assured that there will be appropriate rewards.

If you are willing to aid me, and through me the Empire, come to my headquarters in Abessios as soon as you are able. This letter will grant you passage to Abessios through any Portal of Anshar in Coryan, so as to speed your travels. I will have you met at the temple in Abessios. Once you have
assisted me – or if you decide not to assist me after hearing me out – the Portals will likewise be made available to you, to speed you on your way.
