March 24th-
They plan to attempt to steal the amulet
found in Napoleon’s Catalogue. I cannot believe it. It
will be an ambitious job. Perhaps their
most ambitious yet. Once they have broken into the
Louvre, their names will go down in history.
But it makes sense, the security is very light. Most
people would not dream of breaking into
it, because of its sheer reputation.
March 25th-
They tell me that they plan to steal the
amulet they were hired by at least seven different
interested parties. What a story! I’ve
heard of two employers for a job, but five? Incredible.
Apparently, they are all eccentric collectors
who don’t want to be out bid at the auction. So
they’re paying moneyto bid on it again?
Absolutely incredible.
March 26th-
Well, I saw them pouring over the maps
of the Louvre. They’ve made their mark, now. The job
will go down tonight. Meanwhile, I’ve
been very busy, trying to set up this underground auction.
I’ve found an old warehouse in the 15th
district. It’s the perfect location.
March 27th-
All is going according to plan. They have
achieved their goal! Tomorrow, we will hold the
underground auction. The auction time
has been set for midnight; a bit dramatic, but I think it
adds to the mystique of the event. That
is what our employers want anyway. I am going to be
a rich man!
