• Finally! My supplier sent me the book on ancient rituals and their patrons. It detailed something I had never heard of before, spirits that were not gods. I found one that fascinated me, the one I have prayed to the Smith for. Imagine, a copper designing a ritual to heighten power using a solid wave of force and fire. He seems a true father of magic. Not in my wildest fantasies had I imagined it would be so easy. Fascinating, I must see about making it work for myself, so that I may attain a higher level of power. I think if I tweak it just right….
• Figured out the proper adjustments necessary for devoting the ritual to myself. There seems to be an odd twist of necromancy in the spell, odd for a copper, but I’m not going to worry about it. Life is about compromise. A bit of evil for a bit of good and all that, something I use in my every day life.
• Received components today, began work on tributary to Snieretsu, the copper. It shall be perfect. I will set it up next to the fountain where I plan to do the ritual. May Snieretsu’s spirit watch as I put his power to a higher goal.
• I’m going to perform the ritual tonight. I pray to the Smith for proper guidance into my higher level of knowledge and intellect. I know He will bless me, for there is no reason for Him not to. I do what I do for the people. I think the ritual may bring some pain with the necromancy involved, but I will have my six strongest priests standing by to help me and make sure I am able to attain the highest level of power possible. I would tell you to wish me luck, diary, but I feel I don’t need it, today is my last day of paltry mortality, I know I have the abilities within me to succeed. Immortality knows no boundaries.
• Dear diary, I have had to animate a quill to pen this last note. Oh Gods! What have I done? I pray that the Smith will forgive me. All the people are gone, and now I will be alone.
